This is a screen shot of the "Buttons" tab within the "Windows" tab in "HtmlHelp Compiler Options". Each section is described in detail below:-

The Simulated Button Bar shows visually what your toolbar will look like depending on what options you have clicked below it. Click each of the button options to see what they look like on the button bar.

There are three special options over which you have some control. The Home button can be useful to link back to a specific page or internet URL. Simply check this option then type in the URL.

The two custom buttons allow you to specify your own caption, ideally a very short one, and the URL that will be actioned when the user clicks the button. When you check these options you will see an image for each button appear on the toolbar. This image cannot be changed and is an integral part of the HtmlHelp viewer.
