Select "File | New Project" and you will see three fields as follows:-

New Project Name

This will be the name of your Project and the name of your Help file. You can choose a different name for the help file later, but for now choose a name that will instantly identify the Project.

Title

This is the text that appears in the title bar of your help file when you compile.

Project Folder

As you type the New Project Name the Project Folder automatically adds this name as the new folder name beneath your installation folder. You can change this to a different name.

Click [OK] to create your new project. Fast-Help will automatically create all the support folders you will need, including Images and output directories for WinHelp, HtmlHelp and all the other possible compile options.
