Printing from CHM files
Previous Topic  Next Topic

When you compile your Project into a .CHM file your users may want to print from your help file. They can do this by either selecting the Print button on the toolbar or by right-clicking on the Contents and selecting "Print...". When they do this they will get two options. The first option allows them to print the current page and works fine. The second option, "Print the selected heading and all subtopics" does not work properly. This is a known Microsoft bug in HtmlHelp. There is a Microsoft Knowledge Base article on this:-;en-us;302505

The only consistent way around this is to either ask your users to print pages individually or to optionally supply them with a printable document, either in rtf or pdf format, all of which Fast-Help can produce.
